Farm Description
We are a small family owned farm located in North Central Illinois. Set on 7 ½ acres in the beautiful Illinois Valley, we are dedicated to the breeding, raising and health of our intelligent, gentle, beautiful friends…. the alpaca. Our love affair with the alpaca started 6 years ago while on an outing to the Illinois State fair with one of our daughters. We weren’t ready to commit at that time but, the idea was planted and we knew that day, that there were alpacas in our future. Four years ago we decided to research alpaca breeding. We saw it as something to be involved in when we were ready to retire. In January 2005 we purchased our first two alpacas, 1 excellent prize-winning male and 1 pregnant female, with top-notch lineage. The rest is history, and the love story continues.
